Last year 482 women were murdered by their partners in Peru. Gender violence is increasing in the country and the NGO Vida Mujer decided to make a campaign with Circus Grey to change the situation. The campaign is titled Don´t Die for Me and consisted of the publishing of a book that tells both sides of the love stories that end violently. In the book are included the love letters that the aggressors write the women immediately after an attack in order to make up with them. On the other side of the book are the terrible stories of what happened to each one when they made up with their violent partner. The contact information for Vida Mujer is at the end of the book, to offer legal advice consulting and support for women who need it.The book is on line and was a viral phenomenon. The printed edition was sent to politicians and thought leaders. Now it is competing in the 2015 Cannes Lions International Creativity Festival.
