Jean Sharony, Country Manager & Partner at Whiskey USA, explained to PRODU that the  50th International Quorum of Motion Pictures Producers (IQ) Conference that takes place in Miami, gathers in one single place all the knowledge and novelties at a worldwide scale promoting transculturization in the industry.“The gather experts from all over the world to share experiences on the audiovisual activity that can be applied in your own market. I think it is a very useful thing. I mean, when you take an experience from Iceland and apply it in a situation in Chile, for example, because the transculturization that enriches our activity and is the reason for the existence of IQ.”Donna Haptom, President at the Association and CEO at Capitol Productions Sydney-Tokyo, pointed out that one of the topics that generates greatest interest is the audiovisual business in itself and the possibility that today, more than ever before it appears on platforms such as Netflix or Amazon, that require a huge amount of audiovisual content. “New technologies is also another topic that generates great interest and in the conference there have been interesting contributions on this topic. We will mainly cover the topic of virtual reality, which is definitely the greatest technological novelty in our industry” ended Haptom. From Sunday September 25th until October 1st, 75 specialists in audiovisual production from different parts of the world gather in the Biltmore Hotel to talk about the industry, its challenges and opportunities.
