Cabrera: Sabíamos que esta idea cambiaría el mundo

For Nelson Cabrera, Director and Founder at Cherry Sundae Media, the evolution of digital media and increase of their budgets is imminent in 2017. According to the Director, a 50/50 relation of the investment on traditional and digital will be established. His production company has focused on experimenting with virtual reality (VR), although the investment in VR in the U.S. Hispanic market continues to be very low, he said; they also handle TV commercials, and have a lot of branded content projects. After his participation in December in the United Nations Organization, in a discussion on climate change, he will continue working with the organization. “I am thrilled with the idea of collaborating on campaigns that contribute to the preservation of the world” he said.2016 was one of the best years in his career, mainly because of the huge amount of awards he received for the Edible six-pack rings campaign that he made together with We Believers. He already has several relevant projects for 2017. “We are working on projects with We Believers, López Negrete, and continue shooting the documentary on baseball in Cuba, which will be launched in 2018” he ended.
