Aidita Urra-Álamo, Founder and President of Bohemian Sound, highlighted in an exclusive interview that their priority is to promote talent. This talent representation company, specialized in voice over, has been working from Miami for the U.S. Hispanic market across the U.S. for 12 years.“We are seeking to promote our talent, give them the platform and the tools to make known their power as announcers and voice over actors, and this includes several formats” she explained. “When our talent is new, we advise them on their demo, in order for them to update it with current trends or make an entirely new one.”She mentioned that they currently have a lot of new talents who have great potential. “Many are actors who come to do soap operas and have the potential to be good announcers, so we assist them with voice over coaching and workshops, in which they can learn and benefit from, whether as announcers or reading their scripts better” she said.Urra-Álamo reaffirmed that the demo is essential, because it is the tool to sell their voices and they have to be made professionally for them to be competitive. “In essence, after a talent has his demo, the next step is to give him the opportunity and expose him in as many auditions as possible. We also have a studio for them, to provide them with the facility, the equipment and technology to get more work”.
