Genty: Para Alterna'TV la distribución de contenidos en OTT es una prioridad
Aymeric Genty, CEO of AlternaTV, has four priorities on his agenda: finding new distribution opportunities for the current channels of AlternaTV in Latin America, bringing the catalog of over 5,500 Eutelsat channels to Latin America and the U.S., gauge the potential for distribution of current Latin America channels around the world, and content distribution through OTT platforms.In this evolution of the industry, we dont see AlternaTV only as a distributor of linear channels. We honestly see the company as a distributor of content, Genty told PRODU.The executive will attend the 12th Annual Hispanic TV Summit to take place in New York on October 2nd. He will be part of a discussion panel on programming entitled Content For A Diverse Hispanic Audience, which will discuss the development of new programming geared towards attracting Hispanic audiences in a multi-screen TV environment.Through its Eutelsat partners, Alterna’TV will be present at Mipcom during the celebration of Mexico as country of honor. They will host a cocktail party on October 15th, in association with Thema, an affiliate of Eutelsat. This year Eutelsat will be making great emphasis on Alterna’TV and its portfolio of Latin American channels.
