Univision Local Media appoints Ángela Navarrete to GM & director of Sales of Univision stations in El Paso, Texas

Univision Local Media announced the appointment of Ángela Navarrete to general manager and director of Sales of Univision stations in El Paso, Texas, effective immediately. She will be based in El Paso and report to Peter Moore, senior vice president and general manager, Univision Local Media. In this new role, Navarrete will oversee all aspects of station operations including Ad Sales, Marketing, Production and Promotions for all the Univision owned and operated radio stations in El Paso: KBNA-FM 97.5; KAMA-AM 750; and KQBU-AM 920. “For more than 10 years, Ángela has devoted her leadership skills and industry experience to the growth of our Univision stations in Texas. We are confident that her credibility and excellent relationships with our partners will continue to elevate our brand and position us to continue to deliver on our commitment to inform, entertain and empower the Hispanic community,” added Moore. Navarrete has more than 20 years of broadcasting experience. She joined Univision in 2002 as general sales manager for Univision Radio in Texas and was quickly promoted to director of sales. Prior to joining Univision, she served as general manager of Amigo Broadcasting in Austin; worked for Rodríguez Communications in various capacities including Account executive, Marketing director and Station manager in Dallas; and as an Account executive for Telemundo in Dallas.
