The cable network WGN will develop in the US El double, the English version of Tiro de gracia, which will be produced by Electus and Televisa USA, according to The Hollywood reporter.El double, Electus script based on Tiro de gracia by Televisa USA and Caracol, is about a shrewd Mexican drug lord that uses an ill-fated US actor as his double to evade justice and his enemies from the underworld of crime. El double is Chris Philip´s first production in Televisa USA as Head of Global Distribution and Production. He was previously in Sierra/Engine Television. The director joined the company at the beginning of this year to lead the new Global Distribution and Production Unit, in the aim to place their formats and series both in the domestic US market and in other territories around the world, generate international co-productions and supervise Televisa USA´s sales worldwide.
