Mexicos Canal Once airs on Wednesdays, starting September 16th at 7:30pm, the second season of the series Maestros (13×60), that seeks to heighten the professional work of teachers who work in indian communities, as well as in violence zones and those who teach disabled children. The series is devoted to presenting the work of teachers in the classroom, with which we are offering TV viewers a broad tapestry of these people who dedicate their lives to the education of children and youth, who have turned their job into a passion. We set about touring different parts of the country, including varied geographical and social environments, commented Enriqueta Cabrera, director of Canal Once. The production is under Daniela Paasch´s responsibility, for whom this project was very moving, since teachers opened the doors of their houses, their classrooms, and the communities they teach in to us and that was a great life experience and an inspiration. We found that the stars have in common an unwavering vocation for teaching and a great devotion to their places of origin. Among the testimony obtained, it is necessary to highlight the teachers who work with rarámuri, triquis and huicholes communities, those who teach in areas where violence is part of everyday life and those who share their knowledge with disabled children. The shootings took place in Baja California, Durango, Oaxaca, Morelos, Yucatan, Chihuahua and Mexico City.
