The sixth season finale of Telemundo’s Super Series El Señor de los Cielos ranked last night as the #1 program in Spanish-language television among Total Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. According to Nielsen, the finale averaged 2,061,000 Total Viewers, 1,125,000 Adults 18-49 and 475,000 Adults 18-34.
The sixth season of El Señor de los Cielos full run averaged 1,878,000 Total Viewers, 1,058,000 Adults 18-49 and 467,000 Adults 18-34 placing Telemundo as the #1 network Monday-Friday at 10pm, in English or Spanish, among Adults 18-34, and #2 (excluding sports and specials) among all networks behind NBC, among Adults 18-49. Throughout its full run, El Señor de los Cielos(Season 6) was the #1 regularly-scheduled Spanish-language program in primetime among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
During its full run, the Super Series generated 18,000,000 global actions across social platforms (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram). Instagram powered social engagement with a total of 13,000,000 actions, 76% of the season total and +195% year-over-year growth.
