Mobius.Lab Productions, the ad-hoc content production business unit of Cisneros Media, announced the U.S. premiere of the special series, After the Pandemic will be aired nationwide by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc.
After the Pandemic is an original one-hour documentary by Cisneros Media’s Mobius.Lab, which explores the history of diseases, events, and miseries that have plagued human existence for centuries, causing devastation, but also driving great leaps of innovation.
“After the Pandemic gives the audience a glimpse of hope for the future while it examines our past. At the core of the special is the message: Humanity has, and will always, overcome and thrive in the face of calamity,” stated Ailing Zubizarreta, VP of Creative Services for Cisneros Media.
“Mobius did a great job on this one. It is informative and I found it very hopeful. Society has tackled big problems and has come out the other end better off for it. After the Pandemic tells this important story,” commented Arthur Hasson, VP, Sinclair Original Programming.
The show reports on the beginnings of the COVID-19 in late 2019, first seen in China, how it was reported to the World Health Organization, and the main measures that were implemented worldwide as a result of the global proliferation of cases. In addition, it reflects on how technology impacted the new way of life many faced.
After the Pandemic will broadcast throughout the months of September and October on Sinclair’s TV stations and STIRR platform.
