Monday night’s finale of Univision’s medical drama series Médicos, Línea de Vida reached 3.3 million Total Viewers 2+, who tuned-in to all or part of the two-hour telecast.
Airing from 7-9pm ET, the final episode of Médicos, Línea de Vida averaged 1.8 million Total Viewers 2+, 725,000 Adults 18-49 and 343,000 Adults 18-34, positioning Univision ahead of CBS and FOX with Adults 18-34 and outperforming FOX among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers 2+ in the 8pm hour.
The finale delivered double-digit audience growth versus its premiere telecast among Total Viewers 2+ (+13%), Adults 18-49 (+34%), and Adults 18-34 (+45%). Médicos, Línea de Vida also drove Univision past CBS and FOX for the entire night among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49. Additionally, Univision out-delivered FOX on Monday night with Total Viewers 2+.
Produced by José Alberto “El Güero” Castro, the Médicos, Línea de Vida finale was the No. 1 program in primetime on all of television among Hispanics with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, out-delivering all broadcast and cable programs including ABC’s Dancing With The Stars, NBC’s The Voice and ESPN’s NFL telecast of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New York Giants.
The finale also made Univision the No. 1 Spanish-language network during the 7pm to 9pm time slot and for the entire night with double-to-triple digit audience advantages over Telemundo among all key demos.
