ViendoMovies presents its programming for the month of April with a set of South American films in a varied selection of genres and countries of origin, showing their culture and essence on these films.
For this month the audience will enjoy Alma De Héroe (Colombia) based on the real events of the armed conflict that is sustained in the Colombian jungles; El Paraíso De La Serpiente (Mexico), a SOMOS Films production, which has participated in several film festivals in the cities of Rome, Sao Paulo, Guanajuato and Kolkata. The story follows a strange man who appears in an abandoned area of the Mexican desert. He is rescued and begins to perform healing miracles in the ejido, so he is called a prophet.
ViendoMovies also premiers Algunas Bestias (Chile). Alejandro and Ana take their family on vacation to a remote island in southern Chile. The tranquility of the trip is disturbed when Nicolas, the maintenance employee, who transported them there, disappears leaving the family trapped. The film won 3 international nominations and an award at the San Sebastian Festival.
Moving on to the romantic genre, Amor de Película (Argentina), is a story that tells about second chances, first impressions and the (re) construction of love. For horror movies lovers is Cementerio General 2 (Peru). Fernanda is a psychiatrist who is in charge of investigating the mystery of the Ouija board game that ended the lives of some boys.
The channel will also present the Sbaraglia Cycle with movies from the popular Argentine actor Leonardo Sbaraglia. He demonstrates his talent in a collection of successful films every Sunday of the month: Al Final Del Túnel, El Otro Hermano, El Desentierro and Acusada.
