Viacom International Studios – Americas (VIS) closed an agreement with TV Azteca for the broadcast of the youth musical series Club 57, that will be launched on Azteca 7 in July.
The series, a co-production between VIS and Rainbow Group, is currently aired in Latin America by Nickelodeon and in Italy by the RAI network.
“We are pleased to seal once again a new agreement with TV Azteca. On this opportunity, Club 57, a high-quality youth content that we are sure will be a hit in Mexico due to the strength and amplification TV Azteca can offer it,” assured Guillermo Borensztein, Sales and Co-productions VP at Viacom International Studios.
Club 57 follows the adventures of Eva and her brother Rubén, who accidentally travel to the year 1957. They do everything they can to return home, until Eva falls in love with JJ and decides to stay in the past, unleashing a butterfly effect that changes their lives for the worse.
The serie has a soundtrack written and produced by the singer-songwriter Ricardo Montaner; the authors and producers, Mau and Ricky, and the Colombian singer-songwriter Camilo Echeverry.
This fiction was created by the scriptwriter Catharina Ledoboer, who has written multiple hits for Nickelodeon.
