ViendoMovies presents this month a collection of internationally recognized films in today’s audience preferred genres. This June, the commercial-free channel presents a series of exclusive and special premieres from South America and Spain, offering entertaining and quality programming for Latino movie lovers.
The channel presents the production 1898: Los Últimos de Filipinas (Spain). Nominated for nine Goya Awards and a Forqué Award, this war film set in the late 1800s tells the true story of an “abandoned” Spanish battalion on the Philippine island of Luzon.
Also from Spain, the channel premiers Que Dios Nos Perdone, a thriller developed in the chaotic and violent city of Madrid. Two inspectors must find a dangerous serial killer in the most cautious way, since the Pope is visiting the city and thousands of pilgrims await his arrival on the streets.
For terror lovers ViendoMovies premiers Mis Demonios Nunca Juraron Soledad. This Mexican film is set in 1854 in a cabin near the border of Mexico with Arizona. A gold prospector and his wife are stalked by a mysterious presence.
From Colombia, ViendoMovies presents Corazón de León. The story takes place between Juana, a divorced lawyer and León, who is also divorced. Juana loses her cellphone and receives a call from León saying he intends to return it. During the call, they both start feeling interest for each other. Both agree to meet, but to Juana’s surprise, the perfect man from the call is too short, measuring only 4.42 inches. From that encounter, Juana will seek to ignore those 1.42 inches that he is missing from being a perfect man and will face the convictions of a relentless society and her own prejudices.
Other premiers are Cygnus (Mexico), Casa Caracol (Mexico), Esteban (Cuba), Calzones Rotos (Chile) y Súper Papá (Dominican Republic).
