Vme joined the campaign #YoMeQuedoEnCasa, in which the US Hispanic channel HITN, is participating to help slow down the expansion of the Covid-19. Working in collaboration with HITN TV through their service family Vida y Salud, and with the support of the health expert Dr. Aliza, HITN-TV broadcasts daily newscasts dedicated to informing and educating families on the coronavirus pandemic.
“The response, as usual, has been positive. The videos are being shared and impressions on social networks (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) have risen 64% in a week, according to the reports,” comments Michael Fernández, Marketing VP at Vme.
Fernández mentioned they are working jointly with operators for Vme to be available in all the systems offered by DIRECTV, AT&T Uverse, AT&T TV and AT&T TV Now. Vme Kids is present in all those by AT&T Uverse and Comcast Xfinity and offering the VOD content to all the users of Xfinity, Sling and AT&T Uverse
The channel reports that content such as Aire Yoga, El Caso, Vivir Vale la Pena, Arkeo, Doc Martin and Hola Maytte, are followed daily, with the addition of the campaign capsules.
“We are also working with Juan Diego Humpierres, host of the program Vivir Vale la Pena, who shared several capsules with us speaking about diverse topics such as anxiety, working from home, handling emotions, among others and that way we can lead our followers at this moment that is so difficult,” he added.
When consulted on if there were plans for other Hispanics to join the HITN and Vme campaign, he mentioned that they are always willing to have more channels and Hispanic groups join the initiative.
“We are also working together with LULAC (League of United Latin America Citizens) on its campaign Lulac @Home. The purpose of all these initiatives is to offer a space our audience and users can visit often to obtain updated information and useful resources for the entire family,” he said.
