The suspension of the Olympic Games represented an important fall for the launch of Peacock. However, the awaited NBCUniversal OTT announced nine original contents they will arrive with in the US, that include drama, comedy, sports, and children´s.
In drama the bet is Brave New World, an adaptation of the homonymous book by Aldous Huxley, produced by UCP in association with Amblin Television, and The Capture, a thriller on the world of fake news and intelligence services, made by Heydey Television and NBCUniversal International Studios. The series, written by Ben Chanan, has already been launched in the UK on BBC1.
