Fidela Navarro, CEO of Dopamine, said that the second half of this year has been very productive. The recent Dopamine Entertainment business unit is in post-production of its first series for Warner Media / HBO Max; in addition, they completed the eight episodes of Búnker, a black comedy filmed in the middle of the pandemic for the same brand, and in July they begin shooting Supertitlán in co-production with Universal Studio Group, a Mexican adaptation of the comedy Superstore, which will end at the end of the year.
Although the pandemic forced them to postpone large shoots in 2020, they continued to work in development and pre-production, so they are ready to film. “We managed to finish in March Bunker without problems because we were in forums and in a very controlled location. It was a tough experience because the interaction costs more, but the truth is that the crew and the talent had a lot of patience, endurance, and, above all, passion,” said Navarro.
The second season of Hernán is waiting for the right moment to start shootings, as it is a large and complex production. They have already concluded the development of the second season of Tu Parte del Trato for WarnerMedia, which will take place in Argentina; Amarres 1 is about to premiere on HBO Max, and the development of Amarres 2 is ready; Coyotl is in pre-production, and Close to Me will be released in the last quarter of the year.
