Next Sunday, November 7, starting at 7pm (ET), begins CNN en Español’s new programming block, Domingo de Gigantes is comprised of Oppenheimer Presenta (7pm), En Diálogo con Longobardi (8pm), Docufilms con María Celeste Arrarás (9pm), Don Francisco: Reflexiones(10pm) and, Mirador Mundial (11pm).
Docufilms with María Celeste Arrarás premieres with the presentation of a documentary that shows a less familiar side of Florida, far from the well-known beaches considered by many a vacation paradise. It is about an inland Florida, poorer and gloomy. A Florida that resembles a lunar landscape, with thousands of acres of land drilled for phosphate mining. Hardee County, Florida. The original documentary entitled The Invisible Enemy is an investigation of mining waste and radioactive rocks.
On the other hand, Don Francisco: Reflexiones will offer new chapters of interviews with more than 30 prominent guests with whom the popular host will reflect on those intimate issues that most concern them every day. The first edition of this new season will show a different side of Colombian singer-songwriter and music star Sebastián Yatra.
A new feature of this second season will be the presence of the audience, which will join the program through a “virtual cloud” representing the different countries of the continent. The audience will have active participation in the program, directly asking questions to the guests and giving their opinion on the topics of conversation proposed for each week.
Also, part of this slot is Oppenheimer Presenta, CNN en Español’s analysis program hosted by Andrés Oppenheimer. This week, for the premiere of Domingo de Gigantes, Oppenheimer Presenta will feature former U.S. President Barack Obama and rock superstar Bruce Springsteen discussing his new book Renegades.
En Diálogo con Longobardi, the talk show hosted by Argentine journalist Marcelo Longobardi, presents this Sunday an interview with former Argentine President Mauricio Macri just days before the country’s legislative elections.
Meanwhile, Mirador Mundial, presented by Rafael Romo, is CNN en Español’s live weekend newscast, covering global news with an emphasis on Latin America that is shaping the course of history.
