TelevisaUnivision premiered this Monday the 10th at 6:30pm on Las Estrellas, the sixth season of Esta Historia me Suena. The producer Genoveva Martínez mentioned that for this installment they will have for the first time a new musical theme that opens the door to new talents, and she emphasized the audience embracing songs that talk about what society is currently experiencing.
“The series’ central ingredient is songs with lyrics telling a story, inspiring our writers. Throughout these six seasons, it has had significant growth, because we have selected songs with which our audience can empathize,” she mentioned.
Martínez announced that, even though there are 30 episodes with well-known songs in all genres, these talk about current affairs. “For the first time, we will have an unreleased song, El último viaje, by the young performer Laura Daniela, who talks about femicide, a current and real topic affecting the entire society. The idea is that, if people can be familiar with songs of established singers, they can also listen to new songs and become a hotbed for new talent.”
This new season will feature songs by Rubén Blades, Marco Antonio Solís, Alejandra Guzmán, Los Bukis, Carlos River, José José, Jenni Rivera, among others, that will join stories of life and personal growth with positive messages that highlight universal values such as inclusion, honesty, respect, and solidarity.
