After the premiere of the film ¿Cómo Matar a Mamá? Mexican film, theater, and TV actor, Antonio Gaona, referred to his new projects such as the series Polen for ViX and Mamitas for Star+. He also noted that AI is a great tool with which you have to be careful.
“This year two of the series I made will be released, one is Polen, by 11:11 Films & TV for ViX, of which I can not offer many details; and the second is called Mamitas, which will be available on Star+, a co-production with an Argentine script,” he said.
He said that Mamitas is a comedy about motherhood. “I will play the character of a dad. It’s about today’s women facing the dilemma of being a mother and what they expect from society during this stage, with a comedic approach. It was filmed in Mexico and it’s interesting to talk about it through cinema.”
As for AI, Gaona said he finds interesting what is happening around this technology, which “can add and subtract, can gain ground in many things and therefore we must be careful in the way we use it, even though it is a great tool.”
Gaona has been part of the cast of productions such as Rosario Tijeras, Educando a Nina, Paramédicos, El Cumple de la Abuela and Eva la Trailera.
