FOX Deportes launches NFLeros, a new NFL-themed show airing every Friday at 7pm ET. The weekly show has multiple social media components for viewers including NFL headlines, highlights and game previews.
The show also features special interviews with some of the most recognized Hispanic names in entertainment in a one-hour format.
Host Pablo Alsina joins Super Bowl XLV Champion Brady Poppinga, longtime FOX Deportes broadcaster John Laguna, NFL reporter Valeria Marin and Emmy-award winning broadcaster Jessi Losada. The announcement was made by Carlos Sánchez, EVP and general manager, FOX Deportes.
“We are pleased to expand our NFL coverage with NFLeros and provide viewers with new content and insights from a panel of experts with unparalleled experience. Our partnership with the NFL continues to grow, especially as we prepare for Super Bowl LI, the network’s second Super Bowl broadcast. We are excited to build on the success we had broadcasting the first Spanish-language Super Bowl in the United States with Super Bowl XLVIII and continue to break records next February,” said Sánchez.
Some of the show’s key segments include NFLeros Opinan, a platform for influencers to present their points of view on teams, players and coaches; Thursday Night Game Analysis, a segment for Losada, Poppinga, Alsina and Laguna to discuss and debate plays; and a tribute to Hispanic athletes. Additional regular contributors to the show will be announced at a later date.
In addition to NFLeros, the network also broadcasts its first NFL International game on Sunday, October 30 featuring the Washington Redskins and Cincinnati Bengals.
