Sabbatical Entertainment, with headquarters in Miami, is a production, consulting, content development and distribution company founded by Miguel Somoza –executive with a long career path in international media and content commercialization— and his mother, Valeria Palazio, executive with more than 30 years of experience in programming at Univision Communications.
The company has created innovative, original and exclusive programs in different formats, using a prestigious bank with millions of images and thousands of hours of video and music.
The company catalogue has entertainment, sports, news, contest program productions, highlighting the original radical reality clip production show, Universo Extremo, made in synergy with RMG News. It also has Amados Odiados, Cool School, Desde las Gradas, (L)overs, Máximo Potencial, Efemérides and the special A Year in Focus, which recaps the most important events of the year and turns Getty Images’ coffee table book into a luxury program.
Palazio and Somoza stated that they offer creation, development and original and high quality fiction and non-fiction relevant content production services, for multiple formats, platforms and screens; worldwide acquisition and distribution; media consulting, training; consulting regarding strategy, design and construction of programming grids for all audiences. “We carry out programs tailored to customers and consumers” the stressed.
