FOX Deportes announced that Orlando Silver was appointed VP of Production.
“We are delighted to welcome Orlando to FOX Deportes and look forward to him leading the production team to new heights,” said Carlos Sánchez, executive VP and general manager, FOX Deportes. “Orlando brings extensive experience to the role and has a deep understanding of the industry that will help our network continue to grow in this ever-changing landscape.”
Silver will lead production and operations for the network, reporting to Sánchez and Michael Davies, senior VP of Field & Technical Operations for FOX Sports.
“I’m thrilled and honored to return to FOX Deportes, the place where I launched my career and the network I’ve always called home,” commented Silver. “It’s been exciting to see how much the network has grown, and to form part of this family as it celebrates its 20th anniversary is more than I could ever imagine. I’m looking forward to leading the production and operations departments and am committed to delivering the best content and event coverage to our viewers.”
He joins FOX Deportes from Univision Deportes Network, where he served in a variety of roles since the network launched in 2012. During his time at Univision Deportes Network, Silver was an integral member of the network’s flagship programs.
Silver, who is a native of Mexico City, began his career with Prime Deportiva-FOX Sports Americas, which was later rebranded as FOX Deportes in 2011.
