El Malquerido, directed by the Venezuelan filmmaker Diego Rísquez, starring the singer and actor Jesús Miranda (Chino, from the duo Chino y Nacho), revives some episodes from the life of Felipe Pirela —called the bolerista of America— from his childhood in his native city, Maracaibo, up to his musical debut and international success.
Todos los Hombres Son Iguales is a comedy directed by Manuel Gómez Pereira, starring Christian Meier, Frank Perozo, Mike Amigorena and Geisha Montes de Oca. The catalogue also incorporates the biographic film María Montez, that tells the inspiring story of the great Dominican actress in Hollywood during the Golden Age of cinema.
