reVolver Podcasts has announced that María López-Álvarez, an award-winning producer from Telemundo and Univision, is their new VP of Content and Production.
With more than 30 years of career, she is credited with creating and producing Univision’s most successful news and entertainment program, Primer Impacto, and its highly-successful reality competition show, Nuestra Belleza Latina.
López-Álvarez also led the makeover of the Telemundo’s morning show, Un Nueva Día, resulting in the program’s highest ratings in its history. Additionally, she oversaw the development and production of the network’s Saturday night variety show, Qué Noche!
In her new role, she will be tasked with building content strategy, development and production, as well as talent evaluation and management.

reVolver Podcasts also appointed Joe Uva as non-executive chairman of the board to lead the company’s managers on all governance matters, and to help the company with its strategy and business development.
