According to Carlos Mesber, co-founder and responsible for New Business Development at High Hill, the change in the schedule of the show Suelta la Sopa, from 2 to 3pm is beneficial and aligns them better with Telemundo’s entertainment programming. The space reached the benchmark of a thousand aired episodes.
“I think the change aligns the channel better with the programming because the show that follows will be Al Rojo Vivo with María Celeste Arrarás, which has a lot to do with entertainment” he highlighted. He expressed that there are plans to do some combined work with both productions in the future.
“It is convenient in many ways. We are now closer to prime time, the schedule when more people watch,” he continued. Additionally, he mentioned that after 3pm, homemakers –their main target— are back from picking up their children at school. “During all this time that we have been at 2pm, we have received suggestions on social networks and messages to be at another hour,” he added.
To end, he said that Suelta la Sopa is constantly being renewed. They started with a host, Jorge Bernal, and three panelists, and today have six panelists that take turns throughout the week. “This makes it flow very much”.
