Talent agency Palomera Group will begin 2018 with a new office in Mexico City, apart from those in Miami and Los Angeles. The agency’s headquarters has always been in Mexico City, but now they will have a wider space, with a cooperative environment, and a great hall where their talent can give conferences.
Alejandra Palomera, CEO explained that even though they’ve grown and diversified in 13 years of business with production and content development projects, they rely upon talent careers. “We work to increase our work with the industry and position our talent in leading roles.”
Palomera’s talent includes Marjorie De Sousa, who just filmed an exclusive concludes with Telemundo; Danilo Carrera, Juan Soler and Pedro Moreno.
Regarding production, Palomera said that for three years they’ve been working in developing a biographic series about the Mexican singer and composer, Jose Alfredo Jimenez, and are presently in negotiations to place it.
Palomera said that despite the Mexican market has more work each day, its also more competitive. “There is no more exclusivity in the industry which takes us away from our comfort zone. Everybody knows that managers work for commission, but for us our talents’ careers are long term projects.”
For Palomera, believing in their talent and betting for transparent deals are two basic fundamentals that a good manager must have.
