El senor de los cielos 1
Band announced the debut of the first season of El Señor De Los Cielos on Thursday, March 29 on their channel Rede Bandeirantes (Band) in Brazil. The superseries will be aired on Thursdays at 10:30pm.
With this debut, NBCUniversal informed that it is the first Telemundo superseries to be aired on open TV in Brazil. Additionally, they said they expect it to be a hit, as it has been in Mexico and the US, where the fifth season already ended.
The superseries is an original Telemundo Studios production, shot in Mexico by Argos Televisión, under the executive production of Mariana Iskandarani and directed by Danny Gavidia and Víctor Herrera. Luis Zelkowicz is the writer.
The cast of El Señor De Los Cielos is led by Rafael Amaya, Fernanda Castillo, Carmen Aub, Mariana Seoane, Maricela González, Sabrina Seara and Vanessa Villela.
The production tells the life of Aurelio Casillas, a Mexican drug pusher who decides to take over drug operations in a region dominated by Pablo Escobar.
