Patricio Wills, president and Head of Studio at Televisa Studios, announced a new agreement with the actress Livia Brito, star of La Piloto, to make more projects for Univision and Televisa.
Wills and Brito were some of the attendees to Univision Comunications Inc.’s Upfront at the Springs Studios in New York.
“I am very proud to be able to be here with Livia Brito at Univision’s Upfront and to be able to say that La Piloto –a project we built together some time ago— and La Piloto 2 are being aired on Univision and Televisa in primetime. It is an honor, and a pleasure and we are proud to have her. There will be many more projects. It is an honor for me to say we will always be together,” said Wills, who walked on the event’s red carpet with the actress.
“I am very happy because when we were talking about the project, it seemed it would take a long time to carry out, and we are already in the second season, and I think there will be a third, fourth, fifth, as long as the audience wants it, because it I a great project, it is very good content,” added Brito.
Teresa Rodríguez, co-presenter of Aquí y Ahora by Univision, was another of the celebrities that attended the event. “I have been with Univision for more than 30 years and have seen this company become a source of information, entertainment as well as an educational source. Each day I see how the company has gotten more involved in Hispanics’ development,” she commented.
“I am very happy to be at the Upfront representing the new digital industry. We show people another perspective of what they see on TV,” said Rosy McMichael, YouTube Beauty Vlogger at Univision Creator Network.
Alejandra Espinoza, presenter of Nuestra Belleza Latina, the actress and host Francisca Lachapel from La Bella y El Duro and Brea Frank from La Bella y El Duro were also seen on the red carpet.
