La Piloto, co-production between W Studios and Lemon Studios for Televisa, starring Livia Brito, launched on Monday, June 18 its second season at primetime on Las Estrellas, at 9pm, as their creators began shooting their seventh joint production, Contracara.
“La Piloto is the sixth production we do as W Studios in Mexico in alliance with Lemon Studios. Two years ago this project was the start of our relationship with this Mexican production company and we entrust many of our big projects to them,” explained Carlos Bardasano, senior General Content VP at W Studios.
Meanwhile, Patricio Wills, president and Head of Studio at Televisa Estudios, who is a key piece in this production since his transition as head of W Studios, acknowledged the work of the team that took La Piloto to primetime at Las Estrellas: “I saw this content when it was born and growing, and today, as Televisa, I feel proud of the quality of this project that arrives in Ann important moment to the channel’s prime time.”
Fernando Rovzar, the founding partner of Lemon Studios, assured that in this second “we are excited to know that a project is no longer yours and becomes a property of the viewer. This relation started two years ago and today, as well as the launch of La Piloto, we are starting a new project with this alliance”.
Bardasano added that Contracara is due to debut on Las Estrellas and will star Angelique Boyer.
