Carmen Larios, a renowned media executive with an extensive career leading content and production for major networks such as Nat Geo, Discovery, and A+E, announces the launch of her new media consulting firm, LAR Media Consulting.
Headquartered in Mexico City, LAR Media Consulting specializes in content strategy, marketing, and production. The firm aims to provide a diverse range of services with a strong focus on digital platforms.
As the driving force behind LAR Media Consulting, Larios brings over 25 years of experience in the Latin American and U.S. Hispanic media industry, offering strategic insights for clients. She has extensive experience in co-production, partnering with broadcasters and production companies to execute content investments and strategies across linear TV, non-linear platforms, and all channels, including social media.
Most recently, she served as SVP of Content at A+E Networks for A&E and Lifetime, overseeing editorial strategy, marketing, programming, and production teams across Latin America. Previously, she spent a decade at National Geographic, leading content strategy for Nat Geo, Nat Geo Wild, and Nat Geo Kids, earning five nominations and an International Emmy. Larios also held various executive roles at Discovery Networks Latin America and began her career at TV Azteca in Mexico.
