After two intense days, the eighth edition of the PRODU Awards concluded, featuring over 500 talents from more than 150 Ibero-American companies. The event has cemented its reputation as the premier platform for showcasing the best in front of and behind the cameras. The evening was filled with laughter, tears, excitement, and an impressive display of Spanish-language talent.
PRODU Awards 2024 celebrated it all: with 138 categories across Artistic and Technical Talent, Content, and Marketing, it highlighted the outstanding quality of regional talent. Honorary awards went to Sofia Vergara, Spanish actress Úrsula Corberó, Verónica Castro, Xuxa, Maite Perroni, Miguel Varoni, Pablo Motos, and Javier Hernández Bonnet.
A tribute honored ten years of Turkish productions in Ibero-America, and a cocktail event in Madrid celebrated the Spanish industry, attended by over 200 executives and talents from that market.
The event was expertly hosted over the two days by Jimena Gállego, Alan Tacher, Andrea Serna, and Ricardo Morán.
This historic live event closed with remarks from PRODU’s Ríchard and Roko Izarra, who called it a unique, historic celebration filled with emotional moments, tenderness, and gratitude.
Gállego expressed her happiness in co-hosting with Alan, noting the award’s growth in recent years, while Alan Tacher, marking his fourth year as host, remarked on how the event has expanded in both scale and prestige.
The PRODU Awards were established to become the top accolade recognizing excellence and creativity in Latin production, with an ambitious aim of global promotion—and they’ve certainly achieved this goal.
