The Festival Iberoamericano de la Creatividad (FIAP) in its 55th anniversary, revealed the metal winners on October 10, awarding a total of 206 metals: 4 Great Suns, 1 Special Mention, 46 golds, 69 silvers and 86 bronzes. An excellent sample of the most outstanding and disruptive advertising creativity in Ibero-America.
But the celebration is not over. During Advertising Week LatAm (November 5-7), a highly relevant regional event, the festival will culminate with an exclusive on-site gala to be held at the prestigious Papalote del Niño Museum in Mexico City on November 6.
During this unique and immersive experience, the Great Suns of Ibero-America, the Hall of Fame and the much-anticipated annual awards such as: Agency of the Year, Independent Agency of the Year, Network of the Year, Advertiser of the Year and Producer of the Year, among other surprises such as the Grand Slam, will be presented.
Peru was a protagonist and made history at FIAP 2024. For the first time in the 55 years of the festival, the same country obtains Grand Soles in each of its four disciplines. Circus Grey Peru will be called to the podium three times to receive the FIAP Grand Prix in the Formats, Innovation and Ads disciplines for the Sightwalks – Veredas que guían campaign for Cemento Sol; while Fahrenheit DDB Peru, will receive the grand prize for Fahrenheit DDB Peru’s Cáncer antes del cáncer, for the Peruvian Cancer Foundation.
That same night, the brilliant siblings Andy and Barbara Muschietti will be honored as inductees into the FIAP Hall of Fame, a tribute to their outstanding contributions to the Ibero-American and global creative industry. This recognition, promoted this year by the International Advertising Association (IAA), highlights the remarkable careers of the Argentines, who are leaving an indelible mark on horror films and audiovisual storytelling.
FIAP will also present the third edition of the Grand Slam, which aims to recognize the best creativity in Ibero-America by computing the results of Cannes Lions, FIAP and each local festival.
