For the first time The Annual Hispanic Television Summit (La Cumbre Anual de TV Hispana), in its 18th edition, will take place virtually for four days, from Monday, September 21 to Thursday, September 24 this year.
The event this year is part of the Fall TV 2020, that presents Future’s Next TV, Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News. As a result of this virtual format, the summit is expected to have greater attendance than ever before. The organizers are the Schramm Marketing Group.
The topic of this year´s summit is TV Hispana: Donde las Voces Latinas Son Más Importantes. The sessions from Tuesday to Thursday will include a special speech, master interviews, presentations, and round tables.
The session of the first day will be dedicated to the delivery of the annual Hispanic TV and video awards. Tuesday, September 22 is for the media, brands, and advertising sales; Wednesday, September 23 will be centered on audiences, measurement, and commercialization, and Thursday, September 24 will be dedicated to the production, programming, and distribution.
The schedule for each daily segment will be from 12 noon until 1:30pm.
This year, the awards segment includes the introduction of a new award as a tribute to Rafael Eli, who died Abril due to the effects of COVID-19. Eli was co-producer of this event from the start. The Rafael Eli awards will recognize the people and organizations that were pioneers of Hispanic TV and helped build and maintain the business. The winners will be announced soon.
