2.7 million tune in to Univisión´s landmark education town hall with President Barack Obama

As part of its education initiative Es el momento, Univisión hosted a first of its kind education town hall with President Barack Obama.The town hall, Noticias Univisión Presenta: Es el momento – El Presidente, Los Hispanos y la Educación (The Moment is Now: The President, Hispanics and Education), aired on Monday, March 28 at 7pm on the Univisión Network and was followed by an average of 2.7 million Total Viewers 2+, according to Nielsen’s Fast Affiliate Ratings.“Univisión is pleased to have convened an extraordinary conversation on education engaging President Obama and Hispanic America. The recently revealed 2010 Census data validates the explosive growth Hispanics represent in our nation, and the role we will play in the future of our country,” said César Conde, president of Univisión Networks.The special which was hosted by Emmy-award winning journalist and co-anchor of Noticiero Univisión, Jorge Ramos, attracted 1.4 million Adults 18-49, 724,000 Adults 18-34 and 838,000 Persons 12-34.
