Mattel announced that Adriana Cisneros, CEO of Cisneros, and Roger Lynch, President, and CEO of Pandora Media Inc., will join the company’s board of directors.
“We are transforming Mattel into a high-performance company driven by intellectual property, and are also taking measures to strengthen the board of directors,” said Ynon Kreiz, President, and CEO of Mattel.
At the age of 38 and with vast experience in global businesses, media, and entertainment, Adriana Cisneros will contribute a great deal to Mattel’s board of directors. She is currently the CEO of Cisneros Media, the leading cluster of entertainment media, digital advertising solutions, real estate, and social investment.
For his part, Roger Lynch, 55, is a renown leader in digital entertainment and content delivery industries. He is currently CEO of Pandora, a music streaming provider. Before being part of the Pandora’s Board of Executives, he was the founding CEO of Sling TV Holding L.L.C., a streaming service of DISH Network L.L.C. that offers live sports, news, and entertainment to devices connected to broadband. From 2009 to 2012, he served as EVP at Advanced Technologies in DISH.
Kreiz concluded: “The incorporation of Adriana and Roger, as well as Todd Bradley and Soren Laursen, who joined in May this year, help Mattel’s board of directors to strengthen its capabilities, diversity, and experience with a vision for the future.
