Carmen Larios, Senior Content and Programming VP at A&E and Lifetime Latin America attends Conecta Fiction & Entertainment seeking co-production projects, especially for Lifetime, “where we have been working on co-production projects and are very interested in knowing what producers have as well as new mechanisms. For A&E it is a great opportunity in everything related with the Investiga franchise from crimes” she said at the inaugural cocktail of the event.
Larios commented that she was invited to participate on a panel to present the works of women in the industry. “Thanks to WAWA, too, who supported us on this” she added and announced that new opportunities are coming in terms of mentorships and short films, “always with the intention of seeking female talent, inclusive for Lifetime and our different platforms at A&E”.
In addition to participating on a panel, Larios will be on a jury in a pitch on series. “We must listen to ideas in the series pitch”.
She ended by mentioning her series Amores Que Engañan, co-produced with VIP 2000 TV, Casablanca Brazil, and Yahayra Films, “which was successfully launched last month. We hope to continue this type of project that has been so successful for Lifetime, to continue growing our distribution and production”.
