In her new role, based in New York, Lovejoy adds oversight of Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market
Building on recent global content sales’ growth, A+E Networks is expanding its Americas’ Content Sales team with a senior executive promotion and two new appointments. Ellen Lovejoy has been elevated to VP, Head of Sales, Americas and Formats.
The announcement was made by Edward Sabin, executive managing director, International, A+E Networks; and Joel Denton, managing director, International Content Sales, A+E Networks, to whom Ellen will jointly report.
Lovejoy has been overseeing Content Sales to Canada and the U.S. as well as Global Format Sales. In her new role, based in New York, she adds oversight of Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market.
Joining Lovejoy’s team are Helen Jurado and Bryan Gabourie, both as senior directors Content Sales for Latin America, Canada/US respectively.
Both executives are charged with licensing content from A+E Networks’ 13,000+ hour catalogue to their respective regions. Jurado is based in Miami and Gabourie is based in Los Angeles. Also reporting to Lovejoy is the Global Format Sales team.
Said Sabin and Denton: “Ellen has consistently met or exceeded her sales goals during her tenure at A+E Networks. She is an entrepreneurial thinker, launching our Formats business and our sales activities in the U.S. I look forward to her continued contribution to the growth of our business.”
Current Latin America sales consultant Mayra Bracer will continue to work with Lovejoy through NATPE and on special projects thereafter. Bracer was instrumental in launching and building A+E Networks’ Content Sales business in Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market.
