Alazraki Networks is currently producing for Netflix in Latin America its first original series in Spanish, featuring actor Luis Gerardo Méndez. According to Mark Alazraki, general director of the production house, this project could become a transmedia product.We motivated by the transmedia extensions we can generate, because thats the direction of our innovation plan: continue stories in different media. New platforms are what is setting the conversation in Mexico, Alazraki told PRODU.He also said that being part of the expansion plans in Latin America of companies such as Netflix, means staying on this innovation wave and for us this is extremely relevant. I think the market is growing, and Netflixs strategy of generating content to capture subscriptions is the most adequate.Lastly, Alazraki said that, in addition to this project, the company is working on others that will allow it to generate exclusive content fit to entertain audiences in Latin America and the U.S.
