Azteca premiered its new project Los Rey, starring Rossana Nájera, Michel Brown and Leonardo García, and produced by Elisa Salinas. During the introduction of the cast this Monday, September 3rd, it was announced that the show would be distributed internationally and that it would feature integrations of brands such as Bayer.“This is a large project, with an international cast that will allow us to export it to other markets. In the coming months we will start selling it and we hope to reach over 40 countries,” said Alberto Santini, director of Azteca Novelas and Azteca Trece.According to Elisa Salinas, Los Rey will feature a more conversational dialog, will be shot in HD, 24 frames, and will offer strong integration opportunities. Bayer is the first brand to be integrated in the telenovela.“We’ve worked closely with Bayer on the story and the cast is very involved in the development of their characters with the brand. There are brands that don’t require a lot of work. This is an interesting brand and we’re doing a sort of Bayer telenovela. As we integrate the product, we are also integrating the natural setting of somebody’s home or kitchen, and this is very important to the brand,” said Salinas.Los Rey airs Monday through Friday at 9:30pm on Azteca Trece.
