The one-hour finale of Amor Eterno delivered an average of 2.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 847,000 Adults 18-49 and 344,000 Adults 18-34, making it the most-watched program on broadcast television in the 9pm hour among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and positioning Univision as the No. 1 broadcast network for the entire night in the two key demos.
Additionally, Amor Eterno was the top-rated program on broadcast television among Adults 18-34 and second-highest-rated with Adults 18-49, and also engaged viewers on social with #AmorEternoUS becoming a popular trending topic on Twitter Monday night.
In its full season two run, Amor Eterno averaged 1.9 million Total Viewers 2+, 753,000 Adults 18-49, and 317,000 Adults 18-34. The program delivered double-digit audience growth compared to the first season among Total Viewers 2+ (+37%), Adults 18-49 (+50%) and Adults 18-34 (+52%) and made Univision the No. 1 Spanish-language network in the weeknight 9 p.m. hour, outperforming Telemundo across all three demographic groups.
Later this fall, Univision will premiere Amor Prohibido (Forbidden Love), the next series from the producers of Amor Eterno. The internationally acclaimed Turkish series was announced as part of Univision’s upfront programming slate for 2020/21. Premiere date and time to be announced soon.
