Sueños de Libertad, the new daily series from Atresmedia, premieres this Sunday, the 25th, on Antena 3, and it will also be available on Atresplayer. Outside of Spain, it can be seen through Antena 3 Internacional (USA and Latin America) and Atresplayer Internacional.
Produced by Atresmedia TV in collaboration with Diagonal (Banijay Iberia), Montse García and Jaume Banacolocha are the executive producers and Joan Noguera is the co-executive producer and director. Gonzalo Baz, Eva Norverto, Diego Lesmes, Asier Aizpuru, and Kiko Ruiz Claverol will be the chapter directors of the series. Beatriz Duque and Verónica Viñé are responsible for the adaptation.
José Antonio Salso, director of International Acquisitions and Sales at Atresmedia, mentioned that they are launching it internationally almost simultaneously with Spain. “We believe it has many possibilities in Latin America and the USA. It has been a while since Atresmedia had a new series with the idea of having a significant number of episodes.”
He assured that the reception with clients has been very good, “not only with platforms but also with free TV, pay TV, which may also be interesting and has shown a lot of interest in this daily series.”
Sueños de Libertad, with episodes of 50 minutes, is set in Spain in 1958 and tells the story of Begoña Montes, a woman trapped in a toxic marriage but with an optimistic future due to her relentless pursuit of freedom. The series stars Natalia Sánchez, Alain Hernández, and Dani Tatay.
The script, coordinated by Eulalia Carrillo, is written by Roberto Goñi, Almudena Vazquez, Julia Altares, Ignacio Pérez de la Paz, Antonio Hernández, Fede Muñoz, Barbara Alpuente, and Ana Muñiz. Guillermo Escobedo will be the on-set scriptwriter. Eugenia Peral and Nuria Hernández are in charge of Production Direction, and Marcelo Pacheco is the Art Director. Montse Sancho and Berto Brezo are the director and costume manager, respectively, while Makeup and Hairdressing are led by Ainize Arrieta.
