Azteca America announces the premiere of Olvidé que te Quería (80×60), a drama series starring Erik Hayser and Iliana Fox that combines melodrama with the thriller genre.It is the story of two rival wine-producing families in Guanajuato, Mexico: two lineages tied to hatred and revenge. Olvidé que te Quería premieres Monday, April 18 at 3pm/2pm C on Azteca America. Olvidé que te Quería revolves around two competing winemaking families. The Coronel family, led by patriarch Don Melchor Coronel (Álvaro Guerrero), views the production of wine primarily as a money-making venture. By contrast, the Rivero family, headed by Doña Magdalena Lozada (Dolores Heredia) and Don Alonso Rivero (Rodolfo Arias), is a family devoted to its vineyards and profoundly respectful of the land. Gilberto Coronel (Erik Hayser), Don Melchors son, inherits the leadership of Bodegas Coronel and immediately attempts to acquire the Rivero family land in order to strengthen his familys business, but Don Alonso Rivero refuses to do business with the Coronel family. When Don Alonso dies unexpectedly, his oldest daughter Florencia Rivero (Iliana Fox) returns to Guanajuato to take the reins of the business. Florencias return and her leadership of her familys company intensifies the rivalry between both families and soon she and Gilberto begin to reignite the passionate relationship they shared years before. Shot in San Miguel de Allende, Dolores Hidalgo, and the city of Guanajuato, Olvidé que te Quería treats viewers to unique cinematography featuring beautiful vistas of vineyards, views inside traditional wineries in the Mexican state of Guanajuato, and the inside of wine cellars and colonial-era homes.
