Azteca América: We want to tell stories in a different way

TV Azteca currently produces more than four thousand hours of programming for Azteca América, Azteca 13 y Azteca novelas: entertainment, morning magazines, telenovelas, and now with the premiere of Drenaje profundo, they have also added series.“We want to tell our stories in a different way, as is the case of Prófugas del destino, which combines drama and comedy. Our challenge is to always take chances and do things differently,” said Alberto Santini, Executive VP of Programming, Production and Marketing of Azteca América, and General Manager of Azteca 13 and Azteca Novelas.In 2011 they will continue with this strategy and plan to go back to producing programming for younger demographics: children and teenagers who will become the audience of tomorrow.“We will also add series and miniseries, which are very popular among Mexican audiences. In regards to our programs already on the air, we will keep updating them and adding segments to make them more attractive,” added Santini.
