Azteca América will air a new TV Azteca production starring Gaby Spanic

TV Azteca and Azteca América announced that a new telenovela would soon reach Mexico and the U.S. It will star internationally acclaimed actress Gaby Spanic, whom was contracted last November by TV Azteca. Spanic negotiated with Alberto Santini Lara, VP of Programming, Production and Marketing of Azteca América and General Director of Azteca 13 and Azteca Novelas in Mexico, for the company to find a moving story that would mark the return of the actress to the small screen.”For TV Azteca and Azteca América, securing an internationally recognized actress such as Gaby Spanic is a great move. She has an extensive acting career, which has brought her fame and recognition, and viewers around the world love her. We are confident her comeback to the small screen will be spectacular, high quality, and well received by Hispanic audiences,” said Santini.Azteca Novelas’ producers, writers and directors, are already on the pre-production phase, and the story is expected to premiere this year. Auditions are being held to determine the rest of the cast and locations are still being scouted around Mexico.
