BB: Monitoring OTT platforms in LatAm since 2012

Recently, BB established a strategic global society with Whip Media Group, the biggest media data company in the world, through which companies will be able to meet in real-time the availability of the content catalog of over 1,200 streaming platforms that group more than four million episodes of series, as well as films, present in more than 60 countries.

“With BB we are monitoring OTT platforms in Latin America since 2012 and we were looking for a partner who trusted us to expand that database globally because we know that information has a huge value for all the industry players,” said Tomás Gennari, CEO of BB.

The executive believes that the Alliance with Whip Media Group will allow them to expand this methodology to more than 140 countries.

“It is a great perspective that opens up for us as a Latin American company and that naturally generates a bit of vertigo in us, but at the same time opens up a huge door with a database that will be unique in its characteristics: all the contents that exist, what platforms they are available on and what their business model is,” commented Gennari.
