During the launch of Grup Mediapro’s virtual production center, Mark Alfieri, founder, and CEO of BrandStar and partner in this project, told PRODU that this is a great opportunity to do incredible content in the Spanish-speaking world, both in the US and Latin America.
BrandStar has taken over the design, construction, and installation of the LED wall of the Grup Mediapro hub and will also offer support services to operate the virtual production system. The US-based company has experience producing more than 300 television episodes and 1,000 commercial video projects a year, podcasts, and movies, among other things.
“This studio allows us to do things in an efficient way, saving money in post-production and location scouting, for example, and that is why we’re able to work with large and smaller productions and adapt budgets. We have the capacity to do all kinds of productions and we can do them efficiently,” he said.
About BrandStar, he commented that they work with the best projects, and the best producers and help brands tell stories and hence their company’s name.
“We are grateful to be here and to Mediapro and all the support we receive from Miami County to carry out this great project.”
BrandStar already has a relationship with the US Hispanic market. It owns BeLatina, a multimedia platform for the Latino/Afro-LatinX audience, which launched in 2019 and was acquired by BranStar to connect brands with the growing US Hispanic market.
