Caracol Television’s The Girl, written by Juana Uribe (Pablo Escobar, the Drug Lord, and Bolívar, Una Lucha Admirable) will be adapted for the US market.
Caracol Televisión and Ben Silverman´s Propagate announced the adaptation for the channel FX in the US.
Lisette Osorio, Caracol Television International Sales VP highlighted the importance of this agreement: “At Caracol, we are committed to writing universal stories that can be adapted in every market. We are very pleased to associate again with Propagate and FX to take the adaptation of one of our most successful series to US screens”.

Bettis is an awarded writer that has worked on TV, movies, and theatre. Her credits include Seventy-Two Miles to Go, Queen of Basel, Blood & Dust, The Ghosts of Lote Bravo, The History of American Pornography and Alligator.
