La Mamá del 10 tells the story of Tina Manotas, a humble and resilient woman who, after being forced to leave her native town due to her husband Edwin’s involvement in worrying circumstances, faces the challenge of raising her two children on her own in a noisy city. Her determination and her unwavering love for her son Victor, lead her to sacrifice everything to support him in reaching his dream of becoming a professional soccer player. Victor, for his part, makes an emotional promise to his mother: “With my soccer, I’ll buy you a palace, dear mother, I’ll take you to heaven”. Years later, Victor manages to fulfill his promise of buying an apartment in the luxurious Sky Building, but his new life is tarnished by envious neighbors, which creates new trouble in this story of struggle and triumph.
