Carlos Bardasano Jr., SVP for General Content at W Studios
After the success achieved with La Piloto In the US Hispanic market with Univision, and of Las Buchonas, Carlos Bardasano Jr., SVP for General Content at W Studios, states that the company is starting a new project in Mexico called La Bella y Las Bestias.
“We are currently in preproduction of La Bella y Las Bestias and will start to shoot in about a month. It is the story of Camilo Ferrand and we are closing the cast to start the production,” expressed Bardasano Jr., who also reported that Poncho Pineda y Rolando Ocampo will be responsible for the direction and Lemon Studios will cover production.
La Bella y Las Bestias tells a story of revenge, whose main character is Isabella, a young girl whose parents and family is killed when she is very young.
Bardasano Jr. expressed that they are very happy with their productions in Mexico. “The country has turned out to be very important one in terms of audience. It has a priority within the Hispanic market, but also, regarding production, there are very good human teams, that in terms of audiovisual material have turned out to be very good, with very high quality.”
